Michael Davies is an experienced journalist, with more than 25 years at the highest levels in newspapers, including editorships and senior executive posts at several publishing groups.

During his career, Michael has edited regional evening newspapers, served as Group Editor for a series of Sunday titles, and written regular columns and theatre reviews.
MAGAZINES
Most recently, Michael was editor of Talk of the Town, the monthly glossy A4 magazine published alongside a series of newspaper titles across Northamptonshire, and his work includes writing for and designing a whole range of print publications.
DESIGN
Michael is recognised as one of the foremost newspaper designers in the UK. Over the years, he has redesigned every publication he has worked for, and his knowledge and expertise is much sought after within the industry and beyond - his skills have even been exploited to create mock-up newspapers for television productions.
He has trained hundreds of journalists in the use of design software and also undertakes freelance work on publications in the corporate and public sectors.

MANAGEMENT
In a varied journalism career, Michael has been responsible for editorial departments of up to 100 staff, as well as project managing the multimillion-pound installation of entire new systems on time and on budget.
